Sequel 2

Last night, I ended my weekend night quite bored, wishing to do sth but ended up sitting in front of the screen and watching those past pics, only to leave my heart imbued with nostalgia. My emotions were so overpowering that haplessly I could only  bewail on my present state helplessly. This is life! Sometimes it is sunny while sometimes it can become extremely stormy. Remember the lines of Hamlet:

to be or not to be, that’s the question,

whether this nobler in the mind to suffer,

the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune

and take arms against a sea of troubles

or by opposing end them?

And then comes the death stuff, which in the eyes of hamlet, was the approach to end all these worldly struggles, however, that’s not always true, or it may be true in certain circumstance. I prefer the lyrics of a song named Beat It by Michael Jackson whom might be considered as a pervert.  ( I love his songs! Especially one named Childhood. Fantastic! It reveals some valuable thoughts in understanding this presumed or judged freak.) “Just beat it!!!” We are gonna make it!

Now I have no socks to wear, my five socks are all worn now and they are lying idly on the shelf giving a perfect scent of man waiting desperately for salvation from me to give them a bath. Maybe later tonight, I will do it, otherwise, I am gonna wear  shoes without any socks on my feet for the whole next week. I guess that could be a great personal achievement from any perspectives! haha

I waked up quite eerily this morning, as I may have been in a dream about financials; the things I could remember in the dream were all financial concepts and functions. I just cannot believe it. Isn’t it an auspicious sign indicating that my application to the ABN AMRO will be successful? Haha! That must be the best dream in my college life. Whatever, this time, I am gonna let my train move on the right track from the start to the end and make sure there could be no flaws or defects. And most importantly, no regrets!

Today Evian paid a visit to me, actually speaking; she came here for Qiu, her rumorous boyfriend, and by the way came to see me. She is so excellent that she has seized an opportunity to work in Qatar for half a year and the Qatari embassy will takes care of all her preparation work and all her future life in Qatar. That is really a great achievement, as the oppositions available are quite limited and she must have given a perfect performance in the recruitment process. She has been one of the two lucky dogs. My earnest congratulations go to her!

Wish all my friends will flourish in their lives!

Sequel No.1

I’m here again. It’s been a long time since school started. There is still no message about my application for the summer intern, anyway, being selected in the first round has been really exciting. I guess it has turned sour, and now I am sincerely waiting for my first official polite rejection, hehe… It is fun!

My daily “confessions” still serves as my major source of joy these days. Rousseau was a really profound thinker, according to some of his unconventional and morally unacceptable behaviors who can only be despised in the eves of this mundane world.

While I’m reading, I felt that I have been with the sage all the time. His thoughts, his experiences, his life, are all so glamorous and charming with unaffected innocence, in spite of his defects and misdeeds. I inevitably became envious of him and plunged into deep contemplations and imaginations. I once thought if I were born in the old times, I should probably become a poet or a knight or something, whatever can be associated with heroic and personable demeanors can beautify my life. Then in the milky way the position of my cursed star shall be altered, my fate reshaped, and my life reborn. Such is my childish imagination, and I bet which can never be satisfied until my childlike life be glorified. To be or not to be, that’s the question…

Now it’s time to leave those stupid daydreaming above. Recently I’ve learned some beautiful sonnets by heart, below is one by Spenser, to share with you guys who may happen to show some interest. I have changed a few old English spellings into modern, for easier understanding for the would-be viewer.

One day I wrote your name upon the strand,

But came the waves, and washed it away,

Again I wrote it with a second hand,

But came the tide, and made my pains his prey

“Vain man” said she,” that dost in vain assay,

A mortal thing so to immortalize

For I my self shall like to this decay

And eek my name be wiped out likewise.”

“not so” quoted I, “let baser things devise

To die in dust, and you shall live by fame

My verse your virtues rare shall eternize,

An in the heavens write your glorious name;

Where whenas death shall all the world subdue

Our love shall live, and later life renew.

hope my memory won't fail me...
